The mint Give Peace a Chance coin that Andy and Julia gave me when Brenda and I completed the northern spoke of the peace sign in September 2019 has now traveled with me to the end.
My brother’s wedding ring has traveled around my neck close to my heart from Everett, where his sister-in-law, Anne, gave it to me back on September 7, the second day of this trip. Here it is, nestled in a peace sign on the beautiful quilt Brenda gave me.
The Ganeshes that Shelley gave me have done their job helping us overcome obstacles. They are now off duty.
It is time to rest.

We’ve been following, and occasionally riding, on your amazing journey. Seeing John’s ring touches at the heart. I’ll take a ride down to the Wall this week. Congratulations from all of us

Hey, great to visualize you and Dave Goodrich getting together after this new ride – – May plenty of bicycling be in store, as we roll along!

Thanks, Korina! We only touched Mexico. We didn’t go in. It would have required at least an hour to re-enter.

Congrats Lynn and your entire team. I’m just back from my son’s wedding and have now caught up on all the posts. Your focus on bringing peace in the world reminds me of how the officiant summed up Daniel’s wedding: A Gay Catholic Jewish wedding in a small town in Iowa. Maybe there’s hope for this country after all. Looking forward to biking with you soon and catching up on your amazing accomplishment.
